TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

Participation in NEVA TANGO MARATHON is possible only for registered tangueros.
The balance of Leaders and Followers, dancers' experience of participation in big tango events, level of dancing, ability to navigate freely and safely for others in dense traffic are the most important priorities for us.
In order for the event to be held in a comfortable environment for all dancers, we reserve the right to choose the participants. Please be respectful of any refusal to participate, regardless of whether you are applying as a couple or solo. Therefore, a couple's application may not be approved or may be placed on a waiting list.

TERMS OF REGISTRATION

You can apply for Registration both in pairs and solo. If you are applying solo, please indicate “no partner” in the “partner” column.
Please note that solo partner applications are automatically placed on a waiting list and are approved as applications from solo leaders are received. When single partner applications are approved, the organizer reserves the right to disregard the priority of their entry.
Two-role participants are welcome. Two-role dancers can register solo, without a couple. We expect a balance of two-role dancers: 50/50 in both roles.

REGISTRATION

To register for the marathon, you must fill out the form available on the website under Registration.
After completing the registration form, we will process your application within 21 days.
If during this period you have not received a notification about registration with details for making a voluntary contribution or a notification that your application is on the waiting list, it means that your application is not approved.
As the total list of participants is compiled, an application on the waiting list may be approved before registration closes on September 1, 2025.

APPLICATION

When registering as a couple, the application form must be sent to each of the participants, indicating the name and surname of the partner in the appropriate field.
Dear partners, you cannot register in a pair with a partner who has already sent a solo application.
A partner can pair himself with a partner who has previously submitted a solo application.
If a partner has already submitted a solo application, he/she cannot “pair” a partner with him/her later in the registration.

CONFIRMATION

If your application is approved, you will receive a letter with information about the registration fee.
Within a few days, after the registration fee is received from both of you, you will receive a confirmation email and we will be waiting for you at NEVA TANGO MARATHON!

If you sent the application with a partner, the registration fee must be paid by both participants. Only then the registration is considered complete.

The deadline for payment of the registration fee is 10 days from the date of receiving the letter with information about the application approval.

RIGHT OF PARTICIPATION

The right to participate in the Marathon cannot be transferred to another person independently. Replacement of one of the partners in case of pair registration is possible only by agreement with the organizer.
In case one of the partners cancels his/her registration, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the registration of the second partner, even in case of registration fee payment.
Participants who have paid the registration fee are entitled to attend the event.
The organizer reserves the right to request an identity document to confirm that the person is a registered participant. The organizer has the right to refuse entry to dancers who are not included in the list of participants

POSTPONEMENT OF THE EVENT

In case of postponement of the Marathon for reasons beyond the control of the organizer, the approved registration will be valid for the new date of the event. In case of cancellation of the Marathon, the organizer will refund the fee in full, minus the bank transfer fee.
If before the start of the event there is a possibility that during the event there may be a threat to the life or health of participants (epidemic, disease, natural disaster, etc.), the organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the Marathon. In case of postponement of the event, all fees for approved registration will be valid for the new date of the event.
In case of force majeure and in case of impossibility to hold the Marathon, the voluntary registration fee is refunded/rescheduled in full (minus the bank transfer fee).
The Organizer has the right to stop the Marathon if it becomes known that one of the participants is ill with a dangerous disease that threatens human health and life. Since the purpose of early termination of the Marathon is to protect the health and life of participants, the registration fee is non-refundable.

REFUND CONDITIONS

The organizer is not responsible for the refund of any money spent by the participant during the organization and/or during the trip to the event.
At the participant's request, the amount of the voluntary registration fee (without bank transfer fee) will be refunded under the following conditions:
- if canceled before 01.08.2025 - in the amount of 100%;
- if canceled before 01.09.2025 - in the amount of 50%;
- if canceled after 01.09.2025 - no refund will be made.
Before purchasing tickets and booking a hotel, please make sure that your registration for the Marathon is approved!

PHOTO AND VIDEO RECORDING

By taking part in the Marathon, you agree to the use of photo and video materials with your participation, obtained within the framework of the event.
In case you do not want to be on the video or photo of the official photographers of the Marathon, please inform the organizer in advance.

At the Marathon participants take photos and videos privately, for personal use. If you do not plan to be in the lens of any of the participants of the event, please inform the guest(s) yourself.
